Raindrop Technique blends basic massage techniques for the spine with a carefully chosen, layered sequence of eight Young Living Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oils to provide cellular level detoxification that may improve bodily functions and support physical and emotional wellness.
What is Raindrop Technique?
Raindrop Technique is a sequence of anointing with therapeutic grade essential oils and laying on of hands that brings structural and electrical alignment to the body in a relaxing and invigorating manner. The Raindrop oils are high in phenolic content to ward off potentially damaging viruses and bacteria while cleansing cellular receptor sites to enhance inter- and intra-cellular communication. Some raindrop oils contain monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes to assist in correcting cellular memory.
The purpose of Raindrop Technique is to:
- boost the immune system,
- stimulate every organ, gland, muscle and bone of the body at a cellular level,
- assist the body to come into structural and electrical balance, and
- enable the release of toxins and physical or emotional imbalances wherever they may be lodged.
Essential oils circulate within plants to carry out the essential processes for life of the plant. They are distilled from organically grown plants using precise techniques to extract their life force without harm to the original chemistry. They are easily recognized and utilized by the human body to support our own life force and often have an affinity for particular systems or functions.
Essential oils used in the Classic Raindrop Technique include Oregano (anti-microbial), Thyme (immune system), Basil (voluntary muscles), Wintergreen (bones & joints), Marjoram (involuntary muscles), Cypress (lymphatics & circulation), Peppermint (anti-inflammatory) and the Valor blend (balancing). Other oils may be added or substituted for your specific needs.
What can I expect during the session?
The oils are first applied to the spinal reflex points of the feet using a specialized Tibetan method called Vitaflex. This stimulates the entire nervous system. The oils are then applied directly to the spine using a Lakota Native American feathering technique that further stimulates the nervous system to drive the oils into all areas of the body. Additional massage strokes are utilized to loosen the muscles around each spinal joint. A warm or cold compress is applied to the spine to support deep integration of the oils.
Clients should be well hydrated by drinking 8 ounces of before and after the session. Session will begin with a height assessment and conclude with 10 minute rest and a re-measurement. Due to the aroma of the oils and their continuing effects on the body, schedule to allow for rest afterwards.

How long and how often?
A typical session requires 90 minutes however allow two hours for your first treatment. The essential oils may remain in your system for several days and the effects may last for a week or a lifetime. Acute conditions may require a weekly raindrop session. Chronic conditions usually benefit from a monthly session.
How much does it cost?
A Raindrop session is $120 regardless of the session length and includes all of the classic raindrop essential oils. Additional oils needed may require a small additional fee.
